Teema Rucksajit is a Bangkok-born Designer and Creative director. Raised in a family of fashion-forward females—her grandmother was Thailand’s pioneering couturier while her mother founded the country’s leading silk couture house, Atelier Pichita, during the 80’s—Teema grew up behind-the-scenes of fashion shows, production floors, and photoshoots. Inspired by the women in her life, she moved to New York City in 2011 to pursue a BFA in Fine Arts & Fashion Marketing at Parsons School of Design.

During her time in New York City, Teema interned for acclaimed global brands such as Gucci, DKNY, and Max Mara. After graduating in 2015, she returned to Thailand to revitalize Atelier Pichita before starting her eponymous label, continuing her family’s legacy and love of silk in her own understatedly elegant yet playful way.

TEEMA RUCKSAJIT (the label) focuses on everyday essentials crafted from silks and designed to be unisex, gender-inclusive, and accessible to everyone. Pieces are made to be mixed and matched however one pleases, encouraging endless and effortless self-expression. While the ‘Signature -Silk’ collection consists solely of plain and printed silks, other product lines feature a mix of fabrics, primarily natural fibers, ensuring that wearers feel truly comfortable in their own skin.
